Nidd Gorge Adventure

Our Nidd Gorge Circular Walk takes place on Sunday 23rd November, meeting at 10:45am for an 11:00am start by the picnic tables at the Ugly Duckling Café, Conyngham Hall Car Park, Knaresborough (£2.40 parking, 5 mins from the train station). This 12km route (around 3 hours) follows woodland, riverside, and country tracks with around 130 metres of climbing — expect muddy and slippy conditions, so sturdy waterproof walking boots with good grip and suitable outdoor clothing are essential. Bring a packed lunch and water for a halfway stop, and we’ll finish with a well-deserved pub visit nearby.
