War Graves Week – International Women’s Tour at Stonefall Cemetery

As part of War Graves Week, join us for a special International Women’s themed tour at Stonefall Cemetery, exploring the stories of women connected to the war graves cared for by the Commonwealth War Graves Commission.

During this 1.5-hour guided tour, we’ll talk about the vital work of the CWGC in preserving and commemorating those who served, while highlighting the often-overlooked female casualties buried at the site. We’ll also share the powerful stories of other women connected with Stonefall, including the mother of one of the New Zealand aircrew buried there, whose personal connection adds a deeply human dimension to the history of the cemetery.

This reflective and engaging tour offers a chance to discover the untold stories of courage, loss, and remembrance, while marking both International Women’s Day and War Graves Week in a meaningful way.

After the tour, we’ll continue the conversation over coffee at Fodder, giving everyone the chance to relax, chat and reflect together.

Duration: Approximately 1.5 hours, followed by coffee at Fodder.
